We viewed a 2-minute video of some daily life anecdotes about the Great Depression. (Email me and I'll reply with a Google share of it.) We discussed anecdotes from our own families' histories, also. We defined the terms "Shoah" and "Holocaust" and took notes while viewing a 53-minute documentary by Oprah -- "Elie Weisel Visits Auschwitz" -- we screened the first 16 minutes (email me) -- to be continued in class tomorrow.
