U.S. History

If you have any questions about your final exam, please feel free to visit with me during Advisory. ; )  A new seating chart was put in place for this new semester.  We did a practice A/V Claim & Evidence on Alfre Woodard's rendition of Sojourner Truth's "Ain't I a Woman?" speech.  The video and transcript are uploaded in Google Classroom.  See a reliable classmate to check and edit your thesis and for the Context notes we put on the back of our pages.  Then, read the "Comparing the Two Speeches" handout, underlining key information.  See a reliable classmate to check in on what we discussed, then, as a class about the article and the speech.  Spend a short time pulling some info from the Sojourner Truth materials for your EQ about the Civil War Era.  Finally, we began a Reading Claim & Evidence as an in-class scored assessment -- to be continued in class tomorrow.
