Take a look at the Revolution Writing (EQ) that has been returned in Google Classroom -- see your score and then open the doc to see the comments in the margins. If there is no score, be sure to check if you turned it in and check to see if it was returned to you to remedy an originality check issue or to correct the formatting (should be MLA). The writing scores will be entered into Power School Monday to give everyone a chance to remedy silly errors before it registers into the grade. (If the writing, however, pulls one up from being ineligible, I will email such to the Activities Director.) We self-checked the thesis for "Hayfoot, Strawfoot!" via SMART Board and with discussion and then discussed the contents of the rest of the article together casually. Collaborate to pull some EQ-relevant info from the article onto your EQ page. We reviewed just the highlighted parts of the Civil War Timeline that we had worked with on Tuesday and then finished highlighting the last couple of select items (see a reliable classmate if you were absent). We then set up for analyzing a few, select clips from the 2013 film Twelve Years a Slave -- pick up the note taking handout and a helper page of the human rights and copy from a reliable classmate onto the back of the note page the few context & lens notes I provided via SMART Board to set up the scene.
