U.S. History

Socratic score sheets were returned to students, and we held follow-up discussion from their scored discussion (for me to clear up muddy spots of content where needed).  The "Lincoln" context & lens papers (scored) were returned, discussed, and edited.  Students collaborated in their small groups to pull relevant notes from their two sets of movie notes onto their E.Q. pages.  We viewed an image of the original 13th Amendment (courtesy National Archives) and to address the obvious historical question of "now what?" we began an article analysis of the Hortons' "Call Me Mister" -- this individual, scored work must be done with me in the classroom.  If you've been absent, see me to set up a time to make up this work.  ...to be finished in class tomorrow...
