We finished our casual follow-up (and adding to CQ page) from the Socratic discussion and score sheets were distributed. We began work with the film "12 Years a Slave" -- recording a few context notes from the board and then taking notes onto a new handout while viewing select clips. So far, we've screened scene #8 to where the wagon is arriving at the plantation and scene #12 to where the lady walks away on the upper porch balcony...more tomorrow.
