We began our "Buddhism Basic Notes" from an instructional slideshow and then from a series of quotes and a short video about/from the Dalai Lama. Email me and I'll reply with a Google share of the sources. In some hours students read a short article about the Dalai Lama accompanied with a map handout to show the location of Tibet. (We'll come back to "Bizarre Foods: Japan" as a refresher/energy boost sometime next week.)
