We'll finish defining the Outline of Popular Details Hinduism terms tomorrow, when Mrs. Cluver is back in the afternoon.  Today, take 5-10 minutes to collaborate on EQ1 & EQ2 notes to add to your EQ page about Hinduism, using the information in your notes from Friday's slideshow.  We then began a scored skill assessment -- a Context & Lens from the Hindu primary source, The Bhagavad Gita.  If you were absent, you will make up the C&L work in class, as it is scored.  (The other work -- collaborating -- can be done at home or in Advisory.)

U.S. History

We finished EQ notes & CQ questions while viewing the remainder of the video detailed yesterday.  Bring with you tomorrow your first semester UCWPs to use as I go over the exam content.  We did a skills reboot by completing a self-evaluation on our performance of the subskills bullet-pointed for each history skill like we did earlier in the year -- see me.  We revisited via Smart board the checklist of Civil War Era unit items of study and found them in our folders.  Then, we previewed what few things of the unit are left to accomplish, beginning next with analysis of the film Lincoln.  To this end, we began a scored Context & Lens assessment to gain scholarly critique of the film -- if you were absent, see me to set up a time to make up this work.

World History

We finished note-taking on the Bizarre Foods episode as detailed yesterday and then discussed as a class.  Tomorrow have your UCWPs with you to use as I go over the exam content. We did a skills reboot by completing a self-evaluation on our performance of the subskills bullet-pointed for each history skill like we did earlier in the year -- see me.  We then began our unit on World Religions via a slideshow as an introductory hook and then we set up our new E.Q. and C.Q. pages (see a reliable classmate for that set up).

KCC

Reminder -- Chapter 13 due this Friday.  Tomorrow -- have your first semester UCWPs with you so you can mark and edit items as I go over the first semester exam content. We worked collaboratively on what would have been "context & lens" work pages to get scholarly assessment of the film -- not for a score; freedom to collaborate!  ; )
