World History -- Week of 5/11-5/15

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Next Wednesday (5/20) is a 1-day option for a great, 100-point assignment grade to boost your score in this class by using your Unit-Closure Work Packets and Mental Map Timeline to do an open-note version of the final exam that covers all units from the whole year (Intro, Communal, Ag, Urban, World Religions, Empires, Modern Europe, Modern Western Civ.).

Feel free to work ahead on the following work or to pace yourself according to the days noted; just be sure to finish by Friday 5/15).

Finish viewing and note-taking from the French Revolution video and do the French Rev. Questions assignment in Google Classroom. (Tuesday)

Complete the Modern Western Civ Unit-Closure Work Packet. (Wednesday)

To come full circle and wrap up our year of studies, let's consider again the question "What does it mean to be human?" by viewing the "People of History" slideshow (for a bit of fun, also) and the "Are We Really Different?" slideshow while taking notes of key facts to be used in a discussion assignment later.  (Thursday)

View the beautiful, thought-provoking film of connection called "Human" volume 3 via YouTube with the closed captioning turned on; take notes of key ideas to be used later in a discussion assignment. (1st 1/3 on Friday, and then finish next Monday & Tuesday)
