We did a practice Claim & Evidence on "The Other Lincoln," an important 1-page article -- we'll go over the thesis tomorrow in class. Chapter 14 notes (due yesterday) were scored and returned; Chapter 15 -- all 30 pages is the next reading and note-taking assignment -- due next Friday. Due to the challenging time of year and that it is a longer than our typical reading assignment, ~20 minutes of class today was given to get started and tomorrow and next Tuesday will be given almost in their entirety as work days for this. That should bring the homework load down to under 3 hours spread over 8 days. Do yourself a favor and work at home as you should and then these in-class work days should take the edge off to prevent overwhelm. ; )
