We continued our discussion of the film Lincoln while editing our four note pages, and consider what information to add to their EQ/writing notes. Add to your CQs the topic of looking into a write-up on Doris Kearns Goodwin's A Team of Rivals, the book on which the film Lincoln was based -- there is some fascinating information about Lincoln as a political leader as the premise of that book that isn't necessarily explicit in the film. We began a practice Reading C&E on a 1-page Newsweek article by Anna Quindlen, "The Other Lincoln." This will be finished in class on Monday.
