KCC

We finished our discussion and note-taking on the "quiz" about family life in the modern era relative to earlier eras.  We discussed the stereotypes of the 1950s and 60s and how those differ from historical complexity -- aided by a slideshow handout of information that addressed the '50s, specifically, and gender-related issues.  We went through a very short slideshow of highlights of famous examples of women making progress in the direction of equality in the modern era.  We viewed the "Teenagers, Years of Turmoil" primary source video from the 1950s through 14:07 -- to be finished in class tomorrow.  Reminder -- HW reading and notes is due tomorrow.
