Finish Hutner's essay from Immigrant Voices while doing a Claim & Evidence analysis -- it will be individual choice as to whether to have this particular one scored. Each student will make the decision once completed by self-evaluating how they felt on their performance relative to the score earned on the Hortons' scored assignment.
