We viewed the following scenes from "12 Years A Slave" while continuing with our notes: scene 27 to the letter burning, scene 31 to being tied to the post (very graphic after that point), and scene 34 to the end. We discussed the notes and observations informally (not scored), but connecting to E.Q. and C.Q. pages. ; ) I also shared images of the actress Lupita Nyong'o in character as Patsy and out of character, as herself as a point of conversation about perceptions about human beings, what affects those perceptions, and what is the impact because of those perceptions.
